As of 03/16/17 the bid is at $18,000 and I am sure it will fetch more cash with 6 days left in the auction. Here is what the auction states: This 1973 Datsun 240Z is a modified example that is powered by a turbocharged L28 inline-six mated to a 5-speed manual transmission from a 280ZX. The previous owner purchased the car as a chassis, installed the L28ET, and had it primered. Around 12k miles have been added by the seller over the course of his 10 year ownership. After acquiring the car, they had it painted Nissan Metallic Blue Line (B-17) and performed the current performance and cosmetic modifications, including the 5-speed with short shifter, R200 differential, 280ZX turbo swap, waste gate, boost controller, suspension, brakes, F1 bucket seats, and much more detailed below. It is being sold with a clean California title and a spare 5-speed transmission. The Nissan Metallic Blue Line (B-17) paint was applied about 10 years ago and is said to remain in good condition with some minor imperfections noted on the hood. The seller is unaware of any body filler or prior repairs and has reportedly garaged the vehicle since his purchase. MSA head light covers, front and rear fiberglass bumpers, rear BRE-style spoiler, Urethane front air dam with ducts, and ZG fender flares were added. HID headlight bulbs and the lighting ballasts are from a Mitsubishi Evo IX. Other exterior mods include JDM chrome fender mirrors, FairladyZ fenders and rear spoiler badges, and ZCC front and rear tow hooks. Konig Rewind 16×7 0-offset wheels are wrapped in Falken 512 tires that measure 225/50R16 in front and 255/50R16 in the rear. Modern Motorsports 4×4 Calipers handle front braking, while stock 240z drum brakes are retained in the rear. A 280zx brake booster has been added. Inside, F1 bucket seats are equipped with harnesses. An MSA rear deck speaker box housing 6×9″ Infinity speakers and a center console compartment with cup holders were fitted. Stock 240z gauges with white face overlays are visible behind the Momo steering wheel and Autometer boost-gauge. Power windows and door locks were installed and a Nismo shift knob replaces the stock shifter.
A 1982 280ZX turbocharger was removed from the 2.8L L28ET engine and the manifold was modified to fit a different Garret turbo. The inline-six features a P90 head and F54 block and the following modifications:

The 280ZX 5-speed manual transmission features a short shifter with an R200 differential with gearing ratio of 3.7:1. While the clutch throw-out bearing is said to be a little noisey, it reportedly does not slip. A spare 5-speed manual transmission is included. Suspension modifications include:
