$36,000 1976 Datsun 280Z...Really?

I am always game for any Datsun gaining monetary value in today's market, however, is this for real???  Recently I watched an auction on the ever so popular website www.bringatrailer.com of a 1976 Datsun 280Z allegedly sell for $36,000!  That just seems absolutely insane to me.  I just cannot wrap my head around the idea of a stock, original looking 280Z to sell for that much money.  I will hand it to the seller tho, GREAT JOB man!  You deserve huge praise for this.  Is this the new norm for the S30?  I will admit, this car is CLEAN!!!
