The stock 280ZX Turbo Down Pipe can be a weak link in your performance turbo conversion. Even with a high performance exhaust system, the stock pipe restriction will limit your performance gains. These 2 1/2" diameter Aluminized Steel exhaust down pipes were designed specifically for any 70-78 Z using the stock turbo exhaust manifold and turbocharger from a 280ZX. The down pipe has the proper exhaust flange and Oxygen Sensor hookups, and extends to the correct area where you can modify it for either the stock or a custom exhaust.
